I am interested in the stellar activities and early type stars. 
As for the stellar activity research, I mainly focus on analyzing different kinds of activity tracers, including both photometric proxies and chromospheric proxies. Specifically, my first work is about the stellar cycles revealed from the beat-like patterns of light curves. Using the light curves provided by the Kepler satellite, we built a systematic process to search for stars whose light curves exhibit beat-like patterns that are similar to the characteristics of solar light curves. After that we analyzed the relations between these beat-like patterns and stellar activity cycles. The main goal of this work is to give an elite sample of stars that exhibit cyclic variations of amplitudes of light curves and such sample would be useful for further observations.
Meanwhile, I also study the activity-rotation relation based on the LAMOST data and Kepler data. The main goal is to test relation between different activity proxies and their relations to various stellar parameters. Trying to establish some connections between photometric activity proxies and chromospheric activity proxies and unveil the nature of stellar activity.
Another research is about the eclipse mapping based on the long-cadence data of the Kepler. I checked the residuals of the light curves both inside and outside the transits of exoplanets and found that the residuals inside the transits would be systematically larger that those outside the transits, which may be due to the transiting of the active regions on the surface of stars.
Recently, I am interested in studying the early type stars, especially the B-type stars with emission lines, named Be stars. Typically, some Be stars systems may contain compact objects, which may result in variations of radial velocities. Lots of spectra have been taken for one of these system called LB-1. Combining with the PoWR model I am now studying such system in detail together with some other such systems.
