Huaqing Cheng is a postdoc at the National Astronomical Observatories (NAO), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his Ph.D. degree in astrophysics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in the summer of 2020, under the supervision of Professor Bifang Liu.
His research mainly focuses on the black hole accretion physics, including the multi-wavelength study of the Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs) and the disc-corona model in various accreting systems. He also works on the development of the data analysis software and the calibration experiment of the Wide Field X-ray Telescope (WXT) onboard EP satellite.
